Welcome to Cox Elementary School - Home of the COMETS

Hello Comets,

I am proud to say that this is my 8th year as School Guidance Counselor at Cox Elementary School. I wear many hats from Guidance Counselor to 504 Coordinator to State Assessment Coordinator(STAAR) to Mentor/PALS Coordinator. I am a proud Aggie,  am happily married and am blessed to have a wonderful daughter, Chloe, who is a Freshman at Vista Ridge High School.

As a COMET, we are always striving to "Reach for the Stars" academically, socially and emotionally. I love being a part of the Cox family and working with the students, parents and community. I am looking forward to another exciting year at Cox.

Access to School Counselor Services
School counselors serve students and parents—both in groups and inpidually—to help students meet academic, personal/social, and college/career goals.
Inpidual referrals to the school counselor may be made by the student, a parent, or by school staff and administration. School counseling services do not constitute or substitute for professional therapeutic care.
Students may stop by the counseling office during the school day. Parents may call the counseling office to schedule an appointment or a phone conference. Matters of urgency will be given priority.
