LEEF Innovative Teaching Grants Awarded
Teacher, Paula McClain was recently awarded $611.00 through the LEEF Grant Awards.
Fifth grade students will have the opportunity to contribute to the school atmosphere by painting a large scale mural on the cafeteria wall. These students may volunteer for the "Art Club" and students who are identified as needing adult mentors will be specifically targeted for participation. This activity will be a great match for mentoring in small groups and one-on-one in a non-threatening environment.
Congratulations to Cox Elementary, and to Mrs. McClain!
