Last day for charging breakfast or lunch meals was May 3, 2013. You may still use your account if you money in it. Your account may NOT go into the negative. All negative balances MUST be paid by May 31, 2013.

Cox will be having a 21 days of kindness, "No Place for Hate" starting on Wed., May 1st. Please see attached list of kindness challenges.

Rules and Guidelines for the Talent Show

• Must be a Cox student or staff member
• Maximum performance time is 3 minutes
• Students may only enter one performance unless pre-approved by the principal
• Music lyris must have appropriate language
• Costumes must be approved by the principal if they do not follow school dress code
• No discipline referrals between May 1st and May 24th
• All music and/or props must be provided by student
• Set up time will be a part of the 3 minute time limit
• The school will provide 3 microphones, sound system and CD player
• Each performer must be present the entire talent show to support peers

Location for Kindergarten Exam for Acceleration to FIRST Grade will be held at REAGAN Elementary School Library the week of July 22-25. The Summer Kinder exam for acceleration testing is ONLY done during this week. If you miss the week, students will have to start kindergarten and be tested during the first nine weeks of school.  You must be registered for kindergarten before the paperwork can be completed for acceleration to first grade. Please contact the Counselor, at your zoned campus, for questions.

Parents of elementary students in third, fourth and fifth grades have the option to view and print their child(ren)’s interim progress reports and report cards by using txConnect, rather than receiving paper copies in their student’s Wednesday folder. To receive electronic grade reports, parents must follow two steps. First, parents will need to set up or login to their txConnect account, and second, register to receive these reports by following the instructions (also available at www.leanderisd.org and on your child’s campus website). If parents select this option, parents will be notified by email as soon as the interim progress reports and report cards are available in txConnect. These reports will be replaced every grading period when new reports are produced. The grade reports on txConnect will look identical to those that are sent home. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your campus registrar.
